Storage units create distance between you and your belongings. SnappyBox helps close that distance by recording boxes, items, photos and locations on your iPhone, so you can plan a visit before opening the unit door.

Map the unit before it fills up
Create a location for the unit, then use simple zone names such as front left, rear shelf or furniture wall. These names turn the unit into a map instead of one large unknown space.
Leave an aisle where possible and follow the storage facility's safety rules. The best inventory cannot help if the item is physically impossible to reach.

Give every box a code and cover photo
Use readable box codes and add a cover photo for each box. The leftmost photo in SnappyBox becomes the cover, so put the most helpful identifying image first.

Update the record while you are still at the unit
When a box moves or an item leaves, update SnappyBox before you close the door. That one habit protects the whole system.
A code helps when several boxes look the same. A photo helps when the code is hidden, faded or not visible from the aisle.

Record what you may need to find
Add item names, quantities and notes for the things you might search for later. Include large unboxed items too, especially furniture, equipment, seasonal decorations and archived business materials.

You can keep sensitive details minimal. The goal is to find the stored object, not to create an unnecessary record of private information.

Export or share when the inventory must travel
A PDF report can be useful before a move, handover or storage review. CSV and photo exports help when you want a structured copy outside the app.
If someone else with an iPhone needs part of the inventory, sharing selected boxes or locations can be more useful than sending screenshots one by one.
