Simple summary

SnappyBox helps you organise stored belongings. Your inventory is your responsibility, and your app data is stored locally unless you choose to export, back up, or share it.

1. Using SnappyBox

By downloading, accessing, or using SnappyBox, you agree to use it responsibly and in line with these terms and Apple's App Store rules.

SnappyBox is intended as a practical organisation tool for boxes, items, photos, locations, notes, backups, exports, and sharing. It is not an insurance, valuation, security, or emergency service.

2. App Store terms

SnappyBox is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your download, purchase, refund, restoration, and device-use rights are also governed by Apple's terms and App Store rules.

Apple is not responsible for operating or supporting SnappyBox. Apple may handle App Store services such as purchases, refunds, crash information, app analytics, and device backups according to your Apple settings and Apple's own terms.

3. Free and paid features

SnappyBox may offer a free version with limits and paid features through Apple in-app purchase. The free version currently allows up to three boxes.

Paid features may include additional boxes, backups, restore, exports, reports, and sharing. Prices, taxes, payment processing, refund handling, and purchase restoration are managed by Apple.

4. Local data and backups

Your boxes, items, locations, notes, and photos are stored locally on your iPhone. SnappyBox does not currently upload your inventory to a SnappyBox cloud account or SnappyBox server.

You are responsible for keeping suitable backups. Removing the app, losing your device, resetting your device, or not keeping a usable backup may result in data loss.

5. Exports and sharing

SnappyBox may let you create backups, CSV exports, photo exports, PDF reports, or shared files. These files are created only when you choose to make them.

Review files before exporting or sharing them. They may contain item names, notes, locations, and photos. Share only with people you trust.

6. Responsible use

You must not use SnappyBox to:

  • break the law or help hide unlawful activity;
  • store or share content that violates another person's privacy or rights;
  • copy, resell, or redistribute the app without permission;
  • interfere with the app, website, security, or other users; or
  • reverse engineer the app except where the law clearly allows it.

7. Ownership

You own the inventory information and photos you add to SnappyBox. SnappyBox owns or licenses the app, website, design, branding, text, and related materials.

8. Availability and changes

SnappyBox may be updated, changed, paused, or discontinued. Some features may require a supported iPhone, iOS version, app update, or App Store availability.

These terms may also be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
